Help rebuild flooded Pakistan communities (GoFundMe)

It is our goal to inspire and challenge everyone who has achieved success in their lives to share Prosperity with the community that they grew up in. It starts at Sher Garh Pind and goes beyond.

Inspire others

If given the opportunity even a village poorest people can change the world. Likewise I was born and raised in a little-known and lesser-trusted rural village. The connection I feel but the condition they live in are shared only by the world’es poorest, but this has been no more evident than in the lake of access to proper healthcare, resources and much needed awareness. With a passion for service instilled in me at a young age by the people like my parents, elementary school teacher Sher Ali, and Community leader Sir Major Qadardad and cultivated still today I have embarked on a journey to change lives in the community that shaped mine.

We have had Internal Medicine Camp, Gynecology Camp, Breast Cancer awareness Camp, Hepatitis Camp, Children Camp organized by Dr. Asma Nosharwan, Blood group type campaign, Emergency and Rescue training, Healthy Family planing seminar and many other community care programs.

As costly as they may be, camps are crucial and they truly impact lives in the community by offering both medical care and education about afflictions to those in great need. Our goal is to continue to afford these camps and to attract health professionals from around Pakistan and the world to serve with their skills and inspire with their efforts.

Gujrat Welfare Society Activities

Healthcare cannot help if it isn’t accessible in a literal sense. This was addressed with the establishment of Sher Garh Ambulance Services. It is available 24/7. Our goal is to expand services available and increase our ambulance fleet size when possible.

Passionate, talented people from within the community must be empowered to contribute. We see that in our Clinic Staff. Some of them went to a busy hospital at Lahore. where they gained skills and knowledge to match their compassion.

We also built a building to serve the community. It has a clinic which provide basic healthcare for women. That is opened 6 days a week. It has a seminar hall that is used for seminars and training local community members. We have had Rescue 1122 staff came and gave training to women and men how to handle Emergencies. Same seminar hall is also used as a computer classroom for children and adults women during summer holidays. Building has a children’s play place with slides and swings etc. It is beautiful to local children come play in our play area. Building also has separate Gyms for women and men.

Clinic Activities

A cornerstone activity of the clinic has been having an Eye Camp Since 2014. Every year doctors and specialist of Al Ahsan Eye Hospital from Lahore come with machinery. Every year about 600 patients come for checkup. Some get reading glasses, some eye medicine, some prescription for eye glasses along with a frame. Those patients who may need eye surgery of any kind are recommended to go to go to a hospital in Lahore. GWS organizes buses to take patients to Lahore. Children however may need to go three four times for different test. Thanks to Captain Khalid Butt who introduced us to Al-Ahsan Welfare Eye Hospital. The success rate for our patients has been remarkable. Hospital is very busy. It has clean environment. The hospital President Mr. Sana Ullah truly care for humanity.
